Spray foam insulation under raised homes
Closed cell spray foam sprayed under the floor of raised Louisiana homes. It insulates and air seals the floor from below, so hot, humid air under the house stays out of your living space. We look at your house first and tell you whether foam is the right fit.
What closed cell foam does under the floor
About 2 inches of closed cell foam is our standard under a raised floor, adjusted to each house. It sticks to the subfloor and joists, so it won't sag or fall the way batts can.

Air sealing from below
The floor of a raised home sits over open air. Gaps around pipes, wires and floorboards let hot, humid air from under the house into your rooms. Closed cell foam sprayed against the subfloor seals those gaps and insulates in the same step.
Old insulation comes out first
Before any foam goes in, we remove the existing insulation under the house. Old batts that sag, hold moisture or hide gaps come out, so the foam bonds straight to clean subfloor and framing.
