Metal building spray foam insulation
Why metal buildings sweat
Bare steel heats up and cools down fast. On humid South Louisiana mornings, warm air hits the cold panels and turns to water on the inside of the building. Closed cell spray foam bonded to the steel adds insulation and an air seal right where that happens.

Less dripping and sweating
When warm, humid air hits cold steel, it condenses and drips. Closed cell foam sprayed directly on the panels insulates the steel so that moisture has far less chance to form.
A quieter, more comfortable building
Foam bonded to the steel cuts down rain noise on the roof and helps keep shops, barns and warehouses more comfortable through Louisiana summers.
Metal buildings we insulate
Shops, barns, pole barns, Quonset huts, warehouses and commercial or industrial buildings across South Louisiana, from backyard workshops to full warehouse shells.

Shops and garages
Closed cell foam on the walls and roof of steel shops and garages helps cut down on sweating panels and makes the space more usable through a Louisiana summer.

Warehouses
Warehouse roofs and walls sprayed with closed cell foam to help control condensation over stored inventory and make the building more comfortable to work in.

Quonset huts
Curved Quonset walls and arched roofs get a continuous layer of foam with no seams for humid air to slip behind.

Commercial and industrial
From commercial roof decks to industrial plants, we spray closed cell or open cell foam depending on what the building needs.

How we insulate a metal building
We look at the building first, remove any old insulation, then spray closed cell foam directly to the steel. You will know the plan before we start.
Inspection and estimate
We walk the building and look at the panels, framing, any existing insulation and signs of condensation, then give you a clear estimate.

Old insulation comes out first
If there is old fiberglass blanket or faced insulation on the steel, we remove it. We never spray foam over old insulation, so the foam bonds directly to clean metal.
When needed
Closed cell foam on walls
We typically spray about 2 inches of closed cell foam directly to the wall panels, sealing the steel and adding rigidity.
About 2 inches
Closed cell foam on roof
The roof gets the same treatment, typically about 2 inches of closed cell foam, to cut down on dripping, summer heat and rain noise.
